What is the culture like at Caliche's Frozen Custard?
At Caliche’s Frozen Custard we’ve been a family-owned business since 2017. Our Team Members have always been part of our family, too. To maintain our high levels of treating our customers and quality standards, we’ve never franchised. Respect, professionalism and friendliness make Caliche’s a team-oriented environment where we take pride in all that we do to deliver only the freshest, highest quality treats and legendary service at all times to our customers.
What can I expect when dropping off an application?
When dropping off an application, we will conduct a “Window Interview”. A window interview is a casual interview conducted by the stores Shift Lead at the time of submission. A series of general qualification questions will be asked to filter out the best candidates. We will also look at your completed application for any further questions.
Now that I've submitted my application, what happens next?
Each of our stores is responsible for making their own hiring decisions. You may be contacted directly by phone or email to set up and interview if the management team finds that your qualifications could be suited for the position. In the meantime, you are welcome to follow up on your application in person, by visiting the store you applied at and asking a member of management about the store’s specific hiring needs. What is the age requirement to work at Caliche's Frozen Custard?
Qualified candidates must be 16 years or older or 15 years old with a valid workers permit.
Whaty type of shifts are available at Caliche's Frozen Custard?
Our stores offer a variety of flexible shifts and are willing to work around personal commitments including school schedules. It takes dedicated Team Members working at all times of the day and night to provide the best experience possible to our customers. To that end, we offer a variety of shifts that may work with your specific scheduling needs. Be sure to indicate your desired availability on your application.
Our most traditional working shifts are (DAY) 10am-5pm and (NIGHT) 5pm-11pm.

What are the steps in the hiring process?
Once submitted, your application will be kept active for 60 days. During this time, the management team will have access to review your application and may contact you to set up an interview. At the end of the 60-day period, you may submit another application should you with to continue to be considered for another position.

JOB SUMMARY

Crew Trainer
JOB SUMMARY
A Crew Trainer’s primary responsibility is to train and develop entry-level employees and to conduct skills training in scooping, machine running, and register skills for Blue Apron Employees. Crew trainers must have the passion and ability to share their knowledge in a way that will best develop confidence in the employees of Caliche’s Frozen Custard.
During non-training periods, Crew Trainers will be performing the same duties and responsibilities as the Team Member position. Crew Trainer’s receive training assignments from their Store Manager when a new team member onboards or when new team members are ready to learn a new skill. Crew Trainers are strongly encouraged to remain a role model for consistency and knowledge throughout their time at the store.
